Summer evening birds are calling

Well, curling season is officially over, and now summer's here.

Time to put away the snow blower, shovel, curling shoes/broom, and get ready for camping season. We picked up this beauty last weekend.

The girls are all ready to go - they were packing furiously last weekend and they've made signs for their end of the trailer that read "Girls club. No boys allowed!" Fine with me... :) All I have to do now is break it to them that we don't actually go anywhere until May.

  1. Hi Marc:

I see you have a Rockwood Roo. Which model is it and where did you purchase it from?

We are thinking of a the 23SS in a year or two and will probably deal with Sauders (we live 5 mins away).

  2. Hi Ross.

It's a Roo 19. We bought it at Sauders this spring. It's been great, and Sauders has been very nice to deal with. Very friendly, and they spent a couple of hours with us when we picked it up, showing us everything we needed to know about it.

This summer we've taken it to Inverhuron, Awenda, Arrowhead, Charleston Lake, Killbear and The Pinery. The kids are 5 and 2, and they have a blast in the trailer.

Last year we rented two tent trailers, and the things we didn't like about them (small fridge, no bathroom) the Roo has.
