You watched it on TV. You cheered like crazy when when we won the Silver medal, and damn near cheered your ass off when we won Gold the next day.
You found it fascinating.
Perhaps you said to yourself, "Self, I'd LOVE to try that!"
Or maybe your kids have been pestering you to let them try the coolest winter sport since skeleton.
Now's your chance!
The Elmira and District Curling Club is holding an Open House the first week of October. Come out Wednesday October 6 or Thursday October 7 (or both), from 7:00-9:00pm. Certified instructors will be on the ice to show you the ropes, and you can play a mini-game to see how much fun this really is.

For kids aged 7 to 19, there is a Junior Curling program which runs Sunday afternoons. Kids are welcome to attend the October Open House nights too, where they can throw some rocks and find out more about the program.
