Lotus Notes – the power to Fix anything, or anybody

I am lucky to be blessed with the awesome power of Lotus Notes.  When John or Nancy breaks, I can fix them.

Innovation

Innovation is hard.  Especially for the risk-averse.

You can say innovative as many times as you want, but it won’t make you an innovator, nor  make inventions, patents or profits magically appear in your hands.

Just in time for Saturday’s Elmira Maple Syrup Festival comes this article, quoting a study that says maple syrup is good for you.

Calling Elvis

One of the Tuesday night Men’s league curlers receives a lot of phone calls during the games.  I don’t know exactly why – could be he’s running hookers or drugs, or maybe both… Probably something more innocent, though.  In any event, it’s always important enough for him to answer the phone in the middle of the game, sometimes while he’s sliding down the ice sweeping.

Last night his phone rings, and he answers it.  His skip is walking down the ice towards him, to throw a shot, and yells out “Hey!  Put that fucking toy away!”  No response.  As he’s passing by, the skip swings his broom, knocking the broom out from under the guy’s arm.  Then he swats it across the next sheet and bounces it off the side boards.

The moment of clarity

I’m so glad someone put a comment in to help me figure this one out.
